How we keep you informed about benefits and contributions

At the end of every year, we inform our members about benefit changes and contributions for the year ahead.

  • The October issue of MediBrief contains the most important changes as well as the contributions for the next year.
  • At the beginning of November, we post a printed Benefit Guide to all our main members' registered postal addresses. Please ensure this address, as well as any other contact details we have for you, is up to date on our membership database. The Benefit Guide provides information on all three plans and includes other important information regarding your membership.
  • Around the month of November, we invite you to join the annual benefit presentations, where your Client Liaison Officers take you through changes, revisit existing benefits and remind you about important facts on how to manage your membership. If you attend a face-to-face meeting, you have the opportunity to discuss any query you might have with your Client Liaison Officer afterwards. Employees join these meetings at their workplace and will be informed about the time and venue through their HR department or internal communication. Meetings for our retired members are separately organised - see information below.
  • The Scheme website and app will show the current year's benefits and contributions until the last day of the year but will be updated from the first week of January.
  • Should there be important changes during the year, you will read about it right here, in MediBrief. All MediBrief newsletter articles are also published to the Info Centre on the Scheme's website. We will also include practical tips in MediBrief, as to how to use your benefits during the year.
