Save the date for our year-end presentations!

As you may recall from previous years, we conduct year-end presentations in the month of November to keep our members informed about benefit and contribution changes for the following year. Employees are invited to attend information sessions at their workplace, whereas we offer dedicated presentations at various venues in South Africa for our pensioners.

Virtual and in-person meetings for our pensioners in 2022, we were, in addition to providing virtual presentations, delighted to resume our in-person year-end presentations. We are pleased to announce the dates and venues for this year's year-end meetings, which are once again open to our pensioner members.

While we offer two virtual meetings for those who can't make the other dates in their area or find it inconvenient to travel, we would love to meet you in person.

Please find below the dates and venues that we anticipate will be attended by a sufficient number of members. If you don't see your region or city listed, please contact your Client Liaison Officer (CLO). If we receive enough requests, we are always open to adding more venues and dates. On the other hand, if we don't receive enough RSVPs for the listed dates and venues, we may have to consider cancelling those sessions. Your RSVP is crucial so that we can keep you informed of any changes to the meeting details.

Meet the Principal Officer

The month of November marks the beginning of Julia's tenure as our new Principal Officer. As Fiona passes the baton to Julia, this is the perfect opportunity for both of them to connect with our members. It's a time for Fiona to bid farewell and for Julia to introduce herself, forging a connection with the AMS membership. Fiona and Julia will aim to attend one session per region, possibly the one with the highest number of members attending.

Participate in our lucky draw

Some traditions are worth keeping. As we do every year, we will have a lucky draw for grocery vouchers at the end of the presentation.

Virtual meetings:

Our virtual sessions are open to all pensioner members, regardless of the region. Please RSVP to your CLO by 27 October, providing your name, membership number and the date you would like to join. We will then send you access details and information closer to the time. For our virtual meetings, we will use Microsoft Teams as the meeting tool, but even without downloading Teams, you can join us through your web browser via a link provided. All you need is a device with an internet connection.

Gauteng
As promised, due to the interest in the Randburg session last year, we are offering more sessions in Gauteng again.
