How to submit a claim - update

Standard Care Plan and Managed Care Plan members:

Discovery claims boxes to be discontinued
Discovery has taken the decision to remove all claims boxes across the country. This is due to the low utilisation amongst members. Within the Anglo Medical Scheme only 45 members used this service in the last 12 months. We have informed all members via SMS and/or email.

How else can you submit a claim?

Via the App You can submit your claim via the Anglo Medical Scheme App.

Just log in, navigate to Claims > Submit a claim and either upload a photo or scan the claim. After you have submitted the claim, you will see a claim reference number on the screen which confirms that the claim has been received. Make a note of the reference number on your claim if you want to be able to follow up later, or just take a screenshot if you want to keep it.

On the Scheme website
Log in as a member then navigate to My Claims > Submit a claim.

Send your claims to Anglo Medical Scheme PO Box 746, Rivonia, 2128. Please always ensure your claim is valid, you have received the treatment or services you have been charged for and that the following details are correct and complete:

Value Care Plan members:

Value Care Plan members belong to a network plan and may only use Prime Cure facilities or Prime Cure network healthcare providers, or both. Prime Cure pays these healthcare providers to provide you with healthcare services. You do not have to pay any accounts unless you have not complied with the Rules or use a healthcare provider outside the network in an emergency.

If you receive healthcare services outside the network for an emergency, submit your claim and proof of payment to one of the addresses below:
